Speaker: Chafic Safi, DMD, MS The goal of any endodontic treatment is to prevent or treat apical periodontitis- microbial control. This goal is achieved through the synergistic effect of the famous endodontic triad: Instrumentation, irrigation, and obturation of the root canal anatomy. Anatomically Centered Endodontics, ACE, is a philosophy that embraces all 3 components of […]

Speaker: Chafic Safi, DMD, MS Bioceramics and bioceramic sealers represent a significant advancement in endodontic obturation, offering exceptional biocompatibility, dimensional stability, and antimicrobial properties. This course provides a comprehensive, evidence-based exploration of bioceramic-based root canal obturation, emphasizing the material science, clinical indications, and outcomes associated with their use. Attendees will gain a deep understanding of […] |

Speaker: Chafic Safi, DMD, MS Modern endodontics is evolving—beyond mechanical shaping and traditional access designs—toward a biologically and anatomically centered approach that respects the natural complexity of the root canal system. This course is designed for practitioners who want to elevate their endodontic outcomes by understanding and working with the tooth’s internal anatomy, not against […]
-
Attendees will not only learn the principles behind anatomically centered endodontics but also practice and test these techniques on simulated and extracted teeth, gaining practical confidence in tools, materials, and decision-making for everyday clinical scenarios. |

Laser assisted endodontics is becoming more common and accepted in dentistry. Many protocols exist without much consensus. More research studies are being conducted to support and verify protocols. There is good reason to embrace lasers in endodontics due to the claims of biofilm disruption; antibacterial effects deeper into dentin; enhanced debridement of isthmuses, lateral canals, and dentinal tubules; increased effectiveness of irrigating solutions; and more. Compared to syringe irrigation, endosonic and ultrasonic units, laser assisted endodontics through the action of photoacoustics offers a more effective means of debridement and disinfection of the root canal system. In this webinar we will explore laser assisted endodontic concepts and techniques and review current protocols and their rationale for use. |
