Minimally Invasive Endodontics

This immersive workshop guides participants through cutting-edge protocols designed to improve the predictability and success of endodontic treatment, using the latest anatomically driven XP Shapers and Finishers. These innovative instruments allow clinicians to shape canals from size 15 to 30 with a single file. Emphasis will be placed on conservative yet precise access techniques and strategies for locating difficult anatomy, such as MB2 canals in maxillary molars and second distal canals in mandibular molars. Participants are encouraged to bring extracted teeth that have been accessed and prepared to a size 10 hand file in the main canals. The workshop will also include hands-on practice sealing simulated perforations in clear plastic models using Fast Set BC Putty and BC Liner. Time permitting, those who complete the initial exercises will be invited to explore retreatment techniques using XP Shapers and ultrasonic instrumentation with cordless electronic handpieces.
