Thomas Trinkner, D.D.S.

Dr. Thomas Trinkner was born and raised in Mt. Vernon, Ohio, and graduated from the University of South Carolina, Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marine Science. He then moved on to study at the Ohio State University College of Dentistry – graduating in 1983. Two years later in 1985, Dr. Trinkner began his private practice in Columbia, and has spent the past 25 years focusing on cosmetic and complex rehabilitation cases.

In 1998, he was awarded Accredited Member status by the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry for Excellence in the Art and Science of Cosmetic Dentistry and was the first accredited member from South Carolina.

Dr. Trinkner is also a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Equilibration Society, American Dental Association, and a Fellow in the Pierre Fauchard Academy. Dr. Trinkner currently teaches as an associate at the L.D. Pankey Institute for the Esthetic Programs. He was selected to serve on the editorial board of Practical Procedures in Aesthetic DentistryInside Dentistry, and is a former editor of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry Journal. Dr. Trinkner continues to lecture nationally and internationally in the field of Aesthetics and Complex Restorative Dentistry.
