K. William “Buddy” Mopper, D.D.S.

Dr. “Buddy” Mopper, is an internationally renowned lecturer in aesthetic dentistry with an emphasis in composite bonding using direct application techniques. He co-authored, A Complete Guide on Dental Bonding, which was the first definitive book for the dental profession describing bonding techniques. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry, Founding Member and Accredited Fellow of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Fellow of the American College of Dentistry, and the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. He has taught direct resin bonding on a Continuing Education level at many major universities.

Dr. Mopper was honored with awards from the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry for “Lifelong Commitment to Providing Excellence in Continuing Education in Cosmetic Dentistry”, for “Outstanding Contribution to Cosmetic Dentistry” and “Outstanding Innovations in Cosmetic Dentistry”.  He received the New York University College of Dentistry Irwin Smigel prize in Aesthetic Dentistry, and the Lifetime Achievement Award from GenR8T-Next award. He also received the “Lifetime Achievement Award” from the World Aesthetic Congress in England. Dr. Mopper received the “Gordon J. Christensen Lecture Recognition Award” from the Chicago Dental Society.

He has published widely and is co-founder and chairman of Cosmedent, Inc., where he is responsible for its educational programs and product development.
