John A. Sorensen, D.M.D., PhD, FACP

Dr. John A. Sorensen is an internationally recognized expert in prosthodontics, ceramic restorations, crown and bridge systems and implant abutment systems. He is an active educator and has lectured in 31 countries.

Dr. Sorensen has returned to full-time academics at the University of Washington as Professor, Department of Restorative Dentistry and the Associate Dean for Clinics. Previously he was Director of the Pacific Dental Institute teaching hands-on courses on esthetic, implant and reconstructive dentistry. During that time, Dr. Sorensen was in full-time private practice limited to prosthodontics.

Dr. Sorensen has published over 80 scientific articles and chapters, and over 130 research abstracts. He is on the editorial boards of numerous professional dental publications.
