Dr. Kinzer is passionate about dental education and carries a deep commitment to ongoing advancement of her clinical skills and knowledge as well as that of the team.
Dr. Kinzer is a Charter Member of the Academy of Microscope Enhanced Dentistry (AMED), an international organization founded in 2002, committed to serving the dental profession providing micro-dentistry as well as a resource for the support and education of microscope dentists. To support the dental community, she served on the Board of Directors for Pierce County Dental Society from 2006-2009, and the Board for the AMED from 2008-2010. Since 2012 she has been heavily involved managing and participating in local dental study clubs for hygienists, dentists and specialists in pursuit of bringing Dr. Frank Spear’s philosophy for comprehensive patient centered care to more professionals in the dental community. As a Visiting Faculty at Spear Education she mentors hands on courses and is involved in developing dental curriculum for hygienists and dentists through Spear Education in Scottsdale, AZ.
On a personal note, Dr. Kinzer spent most of her childhood in Alaska. She moved to the Northwest in 1993 and completed her Bachelor of Science in Biology at Pacific Lutheran University. Between her and her husband they have six kids, so most of her spare time is enjoyed with family. She takes pleasure in cooking, reading, running, skiing, and traveling. She is incredibly thankful and proud to be part of the professional dental community in Seattle.
